Rules

Respect each other

Keep the toxicity within reason. Banter is fine, but there is a difference between joking around and constantly targeting someone.

• No harassment or bullying
• No racism, hate speech or discrimination
• No serious threats
• Do not constantly provoke people just to cause drama

If someone tells you to leave them alone, leave them alone.

Spam

Do not spam chats, emojis, reactions or mentions. Do not mass-ping people or constantly tag staff because you want an answer faster.

Botting & macros

Botting and automation are not allowed. This includes bots and scripts, autoclickers, macros, automated PvM or skilling, AHK or other scripts that automate gameplay, and modified clients or plugins that give an unfair advantage.

If something plays the game for you, do not use it. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask a staff member first.

Bug abuse & exploiting

Finding a bug is not against the rules. Abusing it is. This includes duping, broken bosses or mechanics, unintended safe spots, bypassing restrictions or repeatedly using a bug for profit or progression.

If you find something serious, stop using it and report it to staff. Do not share serious exploits with other players.

Real world trading (RWT)

RWT is not allowed. You cannot buy, sell or trade Kova accounts, items, GP, services or donor benefits for real money, crypto, gift cards, OSRS or RS3 GP, another RSPS or game currency, or anything else with outside value. Trying to arrange or middleman RWT is also against the rules.

Scamming

Scamming other players is not allowed. This includes trade scams, fake giveaways, impersonation, phishing or intentionally lying about what you are trading. Always double-check your trades. Staff will never ask for your password.

Account sharing & services

Account sharing is allowed, but you are responsible for who you give access to. It cannot be used to evade punishments, abuse events or rewards, bypass restrictions, manipulate rankings or gain an unfair competitive advantage. Paid account services involving outside value fall under RWT.

Account sharing and services are not allowed during competitions or events.

Alts & multi-logging

Multiple accounts are allowed. Alts cannot be used to evade punishments, farm giveaways or events, abuse vote or limited rewards, manipulate rankings or abuse restricted content.

Economy manipulation

Normal flipping and trading is fine. Intentionally manipulating prices through fake trades, misleading players, bugs or coordinated manipulation is not.

Advertising

Do not advertise other RSPS servers on Kova. This includes RSPS links, Discord invites, recruiting our players, DM advertising or joining mainly to promote another server. Approved creators and partnerships are fine.

Malicious activity

Phishing, malware, token or IP grabbers, DDoS attacks or threats, account compromise attempts, fake Kova sites or downloads and credential theft are strictly prohibited.

Doxxing & personal information

Do not leak, ask for or threaten to leak anyone's personal information. This applies to players and staff.

Impersonation

Do not impersonate staff, management, creators, partners or players in an attempt to trick people.

Inappropriate content

Keep NSFW, gore, shock content and other seriously inappropriate material out of Kova. The same applies to clearly offensive usernames and profile content.

Events & giveaways

Do not cheat or manipulate events, competitions or giveaways. No unauthorised alts, fixed results, fake evidence, exploit abuse or duplicate reward claims.

Large or high-value player giveaways must be approved by staff before being hosted or advertised. Normal small community giveaways are fine. Individual events may have their own rules.

Helping someone break the rules

Do not knowingly help someone RWT, bot, exploit, scam, evade a punishment or commit another serious offence.

Punishment evasion

Do not use another game or Discord account, or someone else's account, to get around a punishment. If you believe it was wrong, appeal it instead.

Staff

Listen to reasonable staff instructions. If you disagree with a punishment, use an appeal ticket instead of turning public chat into an argument. Do not fake or edit evidence. Staff have their own rules too.

Discord rules

Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines still apply on our server.
